FOR INTERNET SALES
Delivery times are between 8am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday to most of mainland UK. Remote areas are excluded. Please note there maybe a surcharge for Scotland . Standard delivery times are within 3-5 working days from placing your order. We will advise you of the delivery days at the time when you place your order and we will contact you if there are any problems with your delivery.
If you require a specific delivery days., i.e Saturday then you can telephone us to discuss this.
Deliveries are made to Kerbside only and as deliveries are made by van or lorry access must be available. (For further assistance with deliveries please contact us). Your signature is required at time of delivery. Adequate help must be available to offload and carry goods into your premises. The driver will not be able to carry flooring into your premises unless pre arranged with us.
IF YOU HAVE SPECIAL REQUESTS REGARDING DELIVERY, or there are any delivery restrictions, i.e. Saturday delivery, width restrictions, red- routes, parking restrictions or parking permits etc. Or, if you wish to PICK UP flooring from our retail showroom or depot then please TELEPHONE 0207 7700 7711.
Deliveries cannot be left at another location, i.e. at someone elses address, out side your garage or out side your door.
If there is any delay with your delivery then we will contact you. If your order cannot be fulfilled we will refund any monies that you may have paid.
If the carrier is unable to make the delivery because you are not available or there is an access problem You must contact us for another delivery time and another delivery charge will have to be made.
We advise you not to pre-book installers/fitters before you receive your flooring as we cannot be held responsible for any possible delays which are beyond our control.
If you are placing a large order then please telephone us so that we can advise on delivery.

FOR SHOP SALES
The time of arrival for the delivery of your order will be between 9am and 5pm on the day. Any cancellation of delivery must be made 48 hours prior to delivery or a cancellation charge will have to be made. All deliveries are to the address of the property at entrance level of the building. If the customer requires the driver to place goods at any other area, it will be at the drivers discretion. When the delivery driver has finished, please check thoroughly that you are satisfied. Then give the delivery driver a signature on the work sheet, which is returned to us.
ACCLIMATIZING YOUR PRODUCT BEFORE FITTING
With wood and laminate flooring, we advise that you allow some time for the flooring to acclimatize before fitting.
In the unlikely event that the flooring you receive is damaged, missing or incorrect, this must be written on the carrier’s paperwork at the time of delivery, and you must contact us in writing as quickly as possible. Refunds for damaged, missing or incorrect flooring cannot be made without this.
If you are having your products fitted by your own fitter, then you must check that there are no damages or faults in the product and they should not be fitted or cut into, and you must contact us in writing as quickly as possible. Refunds for damaged flooring that has been fitted or cut into by you or your own fitter cannot be made.
All existing flooring in areas to be fitted must be uplifted and cleared before the fitter arrives-unless you have ordered on your invoice to have this done for you by the fitters. If the fitter cannot carry out the fitting as arranged due to the areas not being ready then the fitter must be reimbursed for his wasted time.
If you have not requested that your existing flooring be uplifted at the time of your order and later require the fitter to do this, you must give a 72 hour notice to us to allow extra time. A charge will be made for this extra work.
We can arrange to dispose of existing flooring if you have not already arranged this at the time of order, but a 72 hour notice must be given to us so that this can be arranged. A disposal charge will have to be made.
All areas to be fitted must be cleared as much as possible. A nominal amount is acceptable, unless you have ordered on your invoice to pay the fitter to do this for you. Furniture and goods will be moved at your own risk.
If any doors need trimming because there is not enough clearance for laying the new floor, this can be arranged for you at a nominal cost.
At the time of the onsite inspection for your estimate, the condition of your subfloor will be checked wherever possible. If existing flooring is still fitted at the time of inspection, the customer must check sub-floor condition 5 days before fitting time arrangement and inform the us of the sub floor condition. If the subfloor is to be levelled, then the work is to be costed and the customer to decide if such work as required is to be carried out.
DAY OF FITTING
The time of arrival for the installation of your order will be between 9.30am and 3.30pm on the day. Any cancellation of fitting must be made 48 hours prior to fitting or a cancellation charge will have to be made. When the fitter has finished please check thoroughly that you are satisfied, then give the fitter a signature on the work sheet, which is returned to us. Please pay the fitter as agreed. You have to arrange Parking for fitting or delvery of your goods.
We will accept payment for goods by credit or debit card and by bank transfer.
You can also place an order by fax or telephone. When you place your order we will send you an email confirming your details. We will then check the availability and price.
If we find that your goods are not available, there is a delivery delay, a description or pricing error then we will not take your order until an agreement has been reached with you.
If everything is in order and acceptable to you, we will email you again to accept your order. We will only take payment when an agreement has been reached with you.
CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS
You can cancel your order anytime up to 7 working days after the date of delivery. (For internet sales only). You must do this in writing and we will refund or exchange your goods. We will give you a reference to enclose with your return.
All goods must be adequately packed to avoid any damage. The goods must be complete, undamaged and unopened from their original packaging. We cannot accept any refunds on special orders or cut peices. Returns will not be accepted on any over ordered products. Goods returned are at your own expense.
SAMPLES AND MONITOR IMAGES.
We cannot guarantee the colour of a product from a computer monitor. The colour of samples can vary. Nor can we guarantee wood patterns from a monitor or samples. Wood is a natural product and each tree has it’s own colour and pattern variation. It is, therefore, very difficult to be sure of the pattern from a small image, or sample, and we always recommend that you view a larger piece in a local shop or our own showrooms.
Natural Carpets are made from natural fibres which may fade faster than synthetic carpets in direct sunlight. Slight colour variation may occur between samples and finished product.
We send out emails to all our customers regarding orders they have placed. Any email website news and information updates sent by us contain clear information on how to unsubscribe.
We only hold the data necessary to offer services provided on our website. We comply with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 when dealing with all data received from visitors to the site.
Data is only used for the purposes described in our entry on the Data Protection Register. We only hold personal data for as long as necessary. Once data is no longer needed it is deleted from our files.
For administrative reasons data may be passed to and stored securely with third party service providers located outside the EEA (European Economic Area).
We never sell, rent or exchange mailing lists.
We may however share commercial and technical data with our partners where a customer has accessed and used our website via a site belonging to one of our partners. However, such information will also be subject to our partners’ privacy policies.
If you subscribe to our email service via a partner site, that partner may wish to send you details via email of other products and services, which may be of interest to you. However when you subscribe directly to our email service you will be asked whether or not you wish to receive such emails.
In accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, we never send bulk unsolicited emails, (popularly known as Spam) to email addresses.
We may send emails to existing customers or prospective customers who have enquired or registered with us, regarding products or services directly provided by us.
CONTENT POSTED ON OUR WEBSITE
woodworx.co.uk reserves the right to remove or refuse to post any content that woodworx.co.uk considers inappropriate. If you do post content or submit reviews, testimonials or images we reserve the right to use them to promote our products and services.
