Kersaint Cobb & Company

At Kersaint Cobb we are ecologically minded and fully committed to respecting the environment. Our wood flooring is sourced from well established and reliable mills in various countries. All have been inspected by ourselves and have high credentials with regards sourcing raw materials from well managed and commissioned forests. All our products comply with EUTR legislations.

Our Natural flooring products coir, Jute, Seagrass, Sisal and wool are made of 100% natural fibres from totally renewable resources, making them environmentally friendly both through production and in the home.

Our program of sustainable entrepreneurship is called ‘Embrace the Future’ and has four strategic axes: production, innovation, certification and community. The objective of ‘Embrace the future’ is to combine ecological, social and economic interests in a profitable way.

In our production process we try to reduce or avoid waste and where possible, to recycle and re-use it. Moreover, the Balterio laminate floors are PEFC-certified guaranteeing a.o. the preservation of our forests (more info:www.pefc.org).

Innovative techniques and the use of high quality raw materials ensure a safe installation: Balterio laminate floors contain 10 times less formaldehyde than the required norm. As a result Balterio laminate floors bear the Blue Angel eco-label and A+

Balterio laminate floors are perfectly compatible with under floor heating and, under strict conditions, water-based floor cooling without causing a higher energy cost than with traditional heating systems.
